I joined as a full-stack engineer, was promoted to CTO 18 months in, and have been the sole engineer since October 2025. I still write code every day, owning architecture, infrastructure, security, ongoing maintenance, and new feature development end-to-end.
Worker onboarding
Signup to shift-ready, all from a phone. Dynamic multi-step forms, document upload and in-browser PDF signing, license verification with multi-state tracking, emergency contacts, and tax consent. Built on React Hook Form and Azure Blob Storage.
Compliance engine
Regulatory rules for 52 state requirements encoded as data. Ready Health background checks, skills checklists, WV CARES, TB, influenza/MMR, and compliance briefcase PDFs for facility audits. 86,726 documents managed, 3,081 background checks processed, and 46,592 expiration reminders sent, all tracked and audited automatically.
Subcontractor portal
A new product line I designed and shipped end-to-end. 20+ agency-facing pages plus admin counterparts, a full NestJS backend module, state contract management, and dedicated RBAC. Third-party agencies onboard, manage workers, and track placements through the platform. Opened a new revenue channel for the business.
Realtime comms
Chat, video, push, SMS, and email through one pipeline, built on Stream, Firebase, Twilio, and SendGrid. The channel matches the urgency.
